About Van GOGH
Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853–1890) was a Dutch painter and one of the most important artists of the nineteenth century. He belonged to post-impressionism and had a great influence on art movements such as expressionism, fauvism, and early abstract art. During his lifetime, Van Gogh received only limited recognition, but after his death, his work became world-famous.
