ABOUT THE BOOK
The immersive visual stories of Floria Sigismondi have been characterized by a unique and recognizable aesthetic as a director and photographer for years.
"A home away from home – a set by Floria always feels like a supernatural dream world. A place you wish would last forever." — Lawrence Rothman in the foreword of Eat the Sun.
Her acclaimed gaze unites the ethereal and mysterious with the playful and grotesque, where each image tells a story. She worked with countless celebrities and created, among others, the surreal, career-defining music videos for Marilyn Manson. In addition, she directed episodes of American Gods, The Handmaid’s Tale and Daredevil, while her filmography includes The Runaways and The Turning.
Eat the Sun is a star-studded, kaleidoscopic overview of Floria Sigismondi's most important work. This impressive portfolio brings together the powerful visual language with which she grew into one of the most leading creators in the creative industry. Furthermore, Eat the Sun contains many photos that have never been published before.
